Pool & Relaxation
The indoor pool, equipped with hydro-massage jets, opens widely to the outside during the summer. A hammam is available every evening for you to relax before dinner, and an experienced masseuse is available upon reservation. Information and massage appointments can be made at the reception.

Alta Rocca offers a magnificent and exceptional playground: canyoning, tree climbing, rock climbing, tennis, quad biking, hunting, fishing, and walking trails for hikers. You can hike on your own or hire specialized guides who will tell you the history of our region and explain the fauna and flora you will encounter.

Electric Mountain Biking
Rent an electric mountain bike in Zonza, just a few minutes from A Pignata farm inn. Enjoy beautiful e-bike rides to discover Corsica in a different way… closer to nature. Several rides are possible depending on the time you wish to dedicate. For a few hours or the whole day!

Cucuruzzu Site
In addition to the historical interest of the site, a very pleasant family walk awaits you. Le Casteddu de Cucuruzzu, a fortified settlement with an 8-meter diameter tower, is one of the most important monumental sites in the Alta Rocca region. The path continues towards the medieval Casteddu de Capula, at the foot of which lies a Bronze Age statue-menhir.

Alta Rocca Museum
To follow in the footsteps of our ancestors, the Alta Rocca Museum presents extensive collections found on sites that illustrate the history and daily life of populations from the 8th millennium BCE to the Middle Ages. Every year in September, the village hosts a large Medieval event with two days of shows and activities.

Bavella Needles
The Bavella Needles (I Forchi di Bavedda in Corsican) overlook the pass of the same name (1,218 meters), connecting Alta Rocca to the east coast of Corsica. As an alpine variant and the penultimate stage of the famous GR20 trail, Bavella is characterized by its rugged peaks, large rock walls, and twisted laricciu pine trees shaped by the wind. Magnificent landscapes await you at every turn.

Cuscione Plateau
The Cuscione Plateau offers a bucolic and peaceful landscape with its small streams winding through its pozzines… At an altitude of nearly 1700 meters, the relatively flat terrain overlooks the Incudine mountain range. An easy hike starting from the Observatory allows you to visit this magical place with your family and have lunch in a GR20 shepherd’s hut.

Sartenais-Valinco
Located just 30 minutes from the Gulf of Valinco, our establishment also allows you to enjoy maritime activities. You will find all kinds of recreational activities at the nautical center of Portiglio Beach and its 4 kilometers of sand. Sartène, considered the most Corsican of Corsican cities by Prosper Mérimée, is a labyrinth of typical granite streets around a beautiful square lined with palm trees.

Bains de Caldane
The Caldane hot springs are equipped with natural basins where visitors can bathe, and they are very popular among locals and tourists. In this exceptional natural site, the water is rich in sulfur, which gives it therapeutic properties for rheumatism and skin problems.
